EIGRP Stub Router Functionality (Cisco)

EIGRP Stub Router Functionality (Cisco Systems, IP Routing)

Enhanced Interior Gateway Routing Protocol (EIGRP).
Stub Router functionality, which Cisco introduced in Cisco IOS® Software Release 12.0(7)T, provides network architects with greater flexibility for designing EIGRP networks by enabling improved control over traffic flows and limitations of query flooding.
Stub routing is one part of a recent series of enhancements to EIGRP, which were designed to improve stability, scalability and performance.
